Working Title: Explosion Propulsion
- In Team Fortress 2, the Soldier and the Demoman can use their explosive weapons (rockets and sticky bombs, respectively) to propel themselves upwards or on some occasions even forwards. This troper has seen Demomen speed past him by using this technique. Of course, they take damage from the explosion, but not nearly as much as a hit from an enemy rocket or grenade would do.
- Unreal 2 has a special type of grenade which does nothing else than that.
- Really, propelling oneself with explosives is a common tactic in many FPS games, though few actively encourage the idea.
