Lord TNK: I had to edit out that line about Americans not knowing Jazz. Jazz is an American creation. That's like claiming the French don't know much about champagne, or that the Chinese don't know much about making fireworks.
Some Guy: Fair enough- I probably took that snark a little too far anyway. It just seems like the only place you can listen to Jazz these days is on public radio.
Lord TNK: Oh, so you mean American audiences these days. Well a lot of good music seems to be shoved to the side until nostalgia kicks in.
Inkblot: Should we just not make this a subjective trope and just only put in entries confirmed by Word of God?
fleb: Sounds like a good idea. This one's just waiting to balloon out of control. Although, Toy Story 2 is one without apparent Word of God confirmation, but that's still obviously an example, what with the promotion-to-theatrical.
Terry Gilliam is woefully underrepresented on tvtropes in general, but it's a crime not to mention Tideland on this page.
