arromdee: Well, I've never seen anyone mention it online (or in real life, for that matter) except once in a discussion of the disks in question. And I've never heard of any other disks which do this (except for RCE encoded disks, which is basically using this as an alternate method of region coding).
Normal region coding, in contrast, is mentioned and used everywhere.
arromdee: Is Fahrenheit really an example? In order to be an example, it would have to run as the American or European version depending on what machine it was installed on. Being able to change it with a configuration file doesn't count (unless it created a different configuration file depending on what machine you installed it on).
