Anonymous: Trimming the following Natter:
- Wrinkle, in White Wolf's Mage: The Ascension, is the Paradox Spirit that shows up to deal with people who have pushed their luck one too many times in tampering with how things should be, especially temporally. Wrinkle does this by rewriting time so that the offender was never born.
- Exalted has the Pattern Spiders, which manifest the setting's equivalent of paradox and, being mechanical, are one taxonomic order away from being literal Clock Roaches.
- Note that in Exalted, Time Travel is one of the VERY few things that's listed as being explicitly impossible, even with godlike powers.

The pattern spiders in Exalted are a direct Expy of the pattern spiders in Mage: The Ascension, and they perform practically the same function. Rather than continue to natter about it in the examples, I just removed the Exalted reference and moved the discussion here.
