Silent Hunter: The examples weren't quite what I was aiming for. It's a character, for two or three lines, imitating another accent (or another character). The other person is usually completely aware that's not their natural accent. For example, I could briefly put on a Mad Scientist accent if I was watching something in the Frankenstein vein, for example.
Moved these to How's Your British Accent?, since that is what they are.
- In one episode of House, the titular character pretended to be calling someone from London over the phone. His accent is terrible. Of course, Hugh Laurie actually is English.
- In an episode of Six Feet Under, Nate Fisher imagines his girlfriend as an Australian. Rachel Griffiths, who played the girlfriend, is actually Australian.
