From YKTTW Working Title: Break His Heart To Save Him
- Wouldn't it be better to name this trope the gender neutral "break THEIR heart to save THEM" ?
Sylvia Sybil: It would be more gender neutral, but the singular/plural thing often leads to confusion, especially with overly literal Grammar Nazis. Since English doesn't have a good gender neutral pronoun, we want to avoid confusion, and this title is already established, I'd say leave it as it is.
