For the film Apollo 13 the crew actually built an interior set for the Apollo capsule in the NASA vomit comet. They got their shots in 2 minute increments. Tom Hanks completed over 200 parabolic flights, giving him more time on the Comet than almost any other person, except presumably the DP that shot it.
