From YKTTW Working Title: Etna Mode
ccoa: I went ahead and launched this since someone went and made the article prematurely. I'd like to go on record that this is a bad name for the trope - it's misleading for anyone who is aware of the Trope Namer.
Rule: I'm a little confused about what the Trope Namer is. I only know the phrase from Kingdom Hearts, and the troper that added that example said that it probably isn't the namer.
Darmok: Pulled "* In The World Ends With You, beating the game unlocks a New Game Plus, in which you can skip to the beginning of any chapter, including an extra chapter set in an alternate Shibuya, from anywhere you can open your Phone Menu." As it states, this is an example of New Game Plus. I don't recall you getting the ability to play using another character entirely.

Are Half-Life:Opposing Force, Half-Life:Blue Shift and/or the HL fan mods Azure Sheep, Point-of-View, Case Closed examples for this trope? The main difference is, it's not really the same game, but a expansion/mod of the original, but you play the sane story (Black Mesa Incident) as another character (soldier in Op Force, security officer in Blue Shift and Azure Sheep, Vortigaunt in Point-of-View, a Black Mesa janitor in Case Closed).
Rule: Considering that you don't have to complete Half-Life in order to play those games, I'd say that they don't fit the description. However, maybe the description should be changed to fit them. I can't say there are any other games like it, though. Just let it be an example and maybe note that they aren't rewards.
