Ununnilium: That image doesn't seem very Another Dimension-y to me; feels more like Cyberspace.

Citizen: It represented the 4th dimension in the context it was presented (a single cube with a single dot, viewed from above), but feel free to move it... or delete it. =/

Ununnilium: Hmmmm. Perhaps if you provided the context?

Citizen: Done.

Ununnilium: See, now, that's much better.

Ununnilium: "The original version"? Either this is Older Than They Think, or I don't understand.

Amethyst: Has anyone seen this yet? http://www.tenthdimension.com/ An interesting philosophical exercise (but I suppose I can't list it since it's not literature.) It would make an interesting basis for a story-based fictional dimensional system.... or not...

Morgan Wick: Sounds like one explanation for DC's Hypertime concept I've read.

Shire Nomad: Moved a couple examples to The Multiverse. Also pulled Mouse World, which is always in the same dimension.

fleb: Cutting Doctor Who...

* Doctor Who: The Doctor is sent to a parallel earth in "Inferno", and the E-space trilogy ("Full Circle", "State of Decay", "Warrior's Gate") takes place in another dimension the TARDIS enters via an artificial inter-dimensional portal. In the new series, the Doctor states in "Doomsday" that every action made results in the creation of an alternate universe or dimension. He had previously referred to that episode's universe in its first appearance, "Rise of the Cybermen", where he explained how interdimensional travel had become difficult since the death of the Time Lords.

...because I know half of those are Alternate Universe from context/seeing the new series, but I'm not sure if that E-space thing is or not.

Alessar: E-space is supposed to be a completely separate universe but one that doesn't really exist "alongside" ours. Rather, it's something that an access hole has been drilled to at great effort. So that seems like a good cut. Inferno, though, was a good example.

Alessar: City of Heroes — the Pocket D reference should probably be excised. Pocket D is inside the Shadow Shard AD, in a protected area. I'm not comfortable doing that cut though as I'm still a newbie here.
