Because it wasn't an accidental marriage. Crichton knew exactly what he was doing when he kissed princess Katralla, and after it was revealed that he was the only male on the planet who was genetically capable of producing an heir with her it turned into a Shotgun Wedding situation.

Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Parallels": Worf keeps changing between parallel versions of himself; in one of these versions, he discovers that he is married to Deanna Troi.

because it's clearly not an example of this trope. He did nothing to initiate this himself, it's not a misunderstanding (beyond the immediate one scene that quickly makes it very clear he's in an alternate universe), and it's in no way a point of contention between the characters as both readily accept the explanation that they've had different pasts and don't belong in quite the same reality.
