I'm not so sure that Tomomi is a Yandere (as far as what I've seen so far in the manga and the anime). A bitch in sheep's clothing, maybe. She's good at hiding her fangs, and plus I'm not all that certain that she's unstable enough mentally to be cast as a yandere personality type.
Can anyone tell me if the light novels mention anything regarding this?
