Man Called True: That manga link that was in the NGE example? What Shinji was doing was hyperventilating. On the next page both his hands are visible next to his chest. Something tells me someone was playing a joke, but I edited it anyway.

Summerlynx: I thought the link was referring to the fact that Kaworu kisses Shinji in place of a paper bag and later makes some advances on him, asking if the what he was feeling was love. It was on the wrong page, though. Might add the right page later.

Lale:
  • Not so much. Asuka Alexis didn't seem that interested in traditional romance, as long as I can remember. Now, Rei...

Two words: Season Four.

fleb: I remember some months ago I read a listing of the reaction to Tai/Matt from Digimon as being "LEGENDARY in the early days of the English dub", or something like that. The current bullet point is more descriptive and useful, but that one seemed funnier and worth preserving. I'm not even sure if it was on the Ho Yay or Foe Yay page. Does anyone remember writing that?
Dentaku: I removed this line:
  • +Anima. Cooro. Husky. Discuss.
Like... what the hell does it even mean? At least use some semblance of sentences.
Dentaku: I removed the link to the picture, since I really have no idea what it is about. It looked like a guy talking to a tree or something, which doesn't really give off any Ho Yay vibe .

Twin Bird: Yeah, and as I recall, it used to be a pic of two girls hugging in a very platonic-looking way. I don't think either of us can deny, though, that this new pic is Ho Yay-tastic. (Or as Joel McHale put it, "as far as I can tell from the story, these two guys - and I'm not joking about this - are not gay.)

fleb: Cut the mention about Takeru and Iori being squicky to "This Troper," since the natter rant responding to it really has to go.
  • Hell, there's even some who see Ho Yay between Takeru and Iori, which squicks the hell out of this troper (the shota, I mean, not the Ho Yay). Then again, given the "synchronize our hearts" nature of Jogress evolution/DNA-Digivolution, I guess the Ho Yay was completely inevitable.
    • I do believe we've reached a new low. Yeah, I think the dub might have aged the 01 cast up an extra year for 02, but even that would've only been three years. By the official Japanese version, though, it's two damn years. 'TWO DAMN YEARS!!!!! And not even at the "critical point" separating child from adult—it's 11/9! I've grudgingly tolerated people getting Squicked out by 15/10, but I drew the line when Squick was tagged on 18/14. But 11/9? 11/9????? Geez, I might as well just switch it around and put the lower age first!

Twin Bird: :O. Wow. I'll admit 11/9 isn't actually that creepy, but "grudgingly tolerating" 15/10 being squicky and drawing the line with 18/14? Those both seem pretty off to me...

Seikai: Switching back the picture from this to this, since... I don't see any reason whatsoever why this new Code Geass picture would be considered an improvement. To me, the picture has little to no gay overtones to it - I mean, c'mon. It's a picture of Suzaku casually putting his arm around Lelouch, and their expressions just look... normal. Don't tell me that that picture is gayer than a picture of Ban and Ginji, half naked, with bondage chains around them, with their faces in ecstasy... combined with the fact that they really are supposed to just be friends.

Heleentje: Removed:

  • And just to throw a little bit more creepy in, Johan seems to not only have the same affections for Judai, but also for his own Duel Monsters - all Talking Animals) as well (In Yu-Gi-Oh, stronger emotional connection to one's cards equals easier lucksaccing... and there are only 7 Gem Beasts, Johan's only Monster cards in his 40-card deck...)

Because Johan has stated more than once that he considers the Gem Beasts as his family, so unless you're into that, it's not Ho Yay.
