Freezair For A Limited Time: If anyone is intensely curious, the feel I got from the first chapter—and that I kind of ran with here—is a kind of "Westernpunk" setting, with cowboys and demons all in one tasty stew. Then I saw alliterator's notes, and found I was a bit off. Oh well. It's not like we're sticklers.
The idea I had was that this guy, Vaniah—whom alliterator gave a full name too, and whom I initialled "V.V.V."—has been riding a kind of "train between the worlds," and he's stopped at this one. He needs to find a... "small world" for the prophetess. How? Why? I don't know. I just wrote what sounded good. :P
