* Empathic Weapon - I think: Her guns, Bolverk, seem to bring out a combat mode in her. Given the nature of the two other Nox Nyctores see: FUCKING EVIL it's probable they aren't the nicest guns in the world...

Because story mode makes it clear where her combat mode comes from (it's not the guns) and there's no other hints of her being affected by them. Also, that's not really what empathic weapon means (they respond to the wielders feelings, not the other way around).

"Also if you notice, she never actually gets hit in battles, rather poor Nago and Gii takes all the punishment."
TsundeRay: Fuck, no wonder I was getting destroyed today while playing as Rachel - that's not her blocking animation, that's her damage animation.

Vulpy: Okay, Wiki-tachi, I think this page needs a uniform look. I'd vote for axing the parentheticals and putting in a bunch of colons instead.

On a seperate matter, I also think Jin's not nearly as bad as the first contributor to this page apparently does. A jerk? Yes. Asocial? Of course. Irredeemably evil? Of course not. And the game agrees with me, given where his Character Development takes him. Thoughts?

Chris X: I... well don't know. But his actions against Noel and Carl, as those mentions, remains his top heinous stuffs that only a disgrace to human beings would do. And it's not like he's showing regrets on doing those things (well, maybe would be a BIT for Noel, but that got shot to hell because Ragna was nearby). Likewise considering the True Ending, Jin didn't become Hakumen and come to regret his actions, therefore, there is always a chance that he'll be doing more heinous things later.

Vulpy: What he did to Carl was, in my mind, the least excusable thing he did in the entire game. (Don't forget that, after trying to kill Noel and Ragna at one point, he immediately turns around and tries to save both of them from Nu.) In the context, there couldn't have been many things that were unduly "influencing" him at the time, even if he did sprout that big Slasher Smile that I came to associate with Jin being Not Himself. But that doesn't necessarily put him all that far above Carl in terms of morality...or overall sanity; don't forget that Carl has a tendency to insinuate that he's going to vivisect his latest target . On that topic, sanity seems to be at low ebb overall in this setting. ;)

Chris X: I've checked the transcripts. There's no single thing in Jin's story that he tried rescuing both of them. He only goes to save Ragna. Or maybe I'm reading the wrong section?

Vulpy: Still qualifies as a Pet the Dog moment in my book, especially since he looked like he actually wanted to save Ragna, at the very least. I don't think he ever really drops so low as to be a Complete Monster; it really as a lot to do with how much of his personality is his own, and how much comes from Yukianesa. On that note, a thought strikes me: why the Hell would anyone give the most mentally unstable people around Nox Nyctores ?

Sir Ilpalazzo: Continuum Shift reveals that Yukianesa has nothing to do with Jin's insanity, and neither does Terumi (Jin has resistance to the effects of Nox Nyctores, and he even admits to Ragna that he would have done what he did back then anyway even without Terumi there). He's a horrible person all by himself.

Chris X: According to CS, Jin acts as a pretty normal, aloof senior with Noel in his story... that is, until Yukianesa amplifies his emotions, turning him into the mega-Jerkass he's known as. While I'm pretty sure Jin would do the same to Saya without the interference of Terumi, I'm not sure if the statement of 'Jin is not influenced by Yukianesa' is correct. That weapon clearly decides when he goes asshole-mode or not.
