Perhaps it's just me favoring the Zweihander and being on Hardcore Mode while making Cheese Strategy entries and removing the Nintendo Hard entry, but it reminds me of Fortune Summoners in that it's a side-scroller where the main protagonist is a girl that swings a heavy sword.
But enemies are much slower, more predictable, dumber, deaf, not far-sighted, and less durable by comparison, along with being less annoying, a.k.a no Forced Sleep fields here, and fleeing battles is just running off the side of the room, instead of having to hold a button and stay in place, or Kill Enemies to Open.
And more flexible loadout, being able to buff herself for her enemies, and free regeneration with the Amulet of Life and such, instead of Absurdly Low Level Cap so you can only improve tactics instead of stats, along with a lack of Bottomless Pits.
