To celebrate, John gets him a pet goat for his apartment and they decide to go to a restaurant. They leave the apartment with the manuscript on a chair within easy reach of the goat. That was so stupid, I immediately turned off the TV before I saw what happened next. I assume they rush back into the apartment, put the manuscript on a high shelf, take the goat to an animal shelter and buy an aquarium for tropical fish instead. That ending isn't funny, but it would have been more sensible and far funnier than what that goat might have done.
