I enjoyed the manga's wuxia style, political intrigue, and Arakawa's humor, and there are also intensely emotional moments. However, I feel that the main character is a bit cliched (still like him, though)and some events feel rushed (new characters often die before sufficient character development, for example). This series is also overshadowed by Arakawa's FMA and the recent Silver Spoon. All in all, not Arakawa's best (well, it's not entirely hers, anyway), but there is that familiar charm.
Manga Decent, but Lacking
