- Comments: A very well written AU that is actually believable. The relationship between the characters are very lovely and develop very naturally without making the characters OOC. Probably the most well-known fic in the Inception fandom, especially amongst the Arthur/Eames fans.

When you watch Arthur the overworked lawyer be unhealthy or sad, you feel his stress. It's angst that hits close to home for people who find themselves on situations where they are miserable but keep doing what makes them miserable because MAYBE if they're used to it and better at it then it'll be less miserable, and if it isn't then you're screwed.
