I'm not too familiar with the Naruto franchise, but I followed a link to this fanfic and started reading.
The writer had some interesting ideas, but was lacking in technical skill. For example, it's hard to know who's saying what when the paragraphs are structured like this:
"Ta-da! I, Naruto, have returned!" Sasuke hit him in the face.
"That's for almost getting me killed yesterday!" Naruto ran away from his angry teammate.
Yeah, it's like that for many chapters, and it's pretty confusing. It gets a little better in the later chapters, but I wasn't interested enough to continue on past chapter 14.
