Ok, I'm an idiot, I confused this with the good ending. Still a little dubious, but not nearly as much.

Is this really an utsuge? It threading the line, but I think in the end it is ment to fall on the side of nakige.

This is also incorrect, the world is not saved, its destruction is merely put off, and it's despite what he does, rather than because of it.
"The Non Standard Game Over of the Terra route kicks off the events of the common route."
It most certainly does not. Unless someone can explain why this is the case, the bookend trope should probably be removed.
