I personally suspect 1.8 to be an obvious beta as some of the puppet had things like splash and matching past development trends of the previous major version, 1.5, it wouldn't be complete until 1.83 or so, which is not forth coming due to the original developer retiring from Fire Red Romhacks.
A bit of this page is somewhat off. If there were more changes between the two I'd suggest breaking it up into 1.5 and 1.8 tropes, but that's not too important right now since nobody even looks at this page. I'm not very confident in how to word things, so I'll just point out stuff and be on my way:
Everything regarding to the "story" is wrong. That story is from an unofficial Japanese patch (Gensokyo Scenario) and just uses Patchcon's story as a boat. This is far from an official story for Touhoumon, but I guess people think it's official since Aichiya Sanae's stuff is beyond popular.
Canon Immigrant: Advents are the only thing imported from doujinshi in official, but we have like a million bad hacks so I guess that part is still relevant.
Olympus Mons: Somewhat outdated due to 1.8 changing them up, but blah. I also don't see how it's lampshaded at all by Suwako and Kanako being gods.
Palette Swap: 1.0 was the earliest version of it, and it was never just straight sprite swaps. They all had unique typings and movepools at that point.
Shout Out: As mentioned before, the background story listed isn't related to the "actual story" of Touhoumon at all since it was used for an unofficial patch.
There's nothing more crossing my mind now, so I think I'll just leave it at that.
