I'm not very far into the series and haven't seen Giant Robo in years, but these sound super vague.

Trying to figure out how to properly indicate each and every homage to the Giant Robo OVA. Orbal energy is obviously Shizuma Drives, The Ouroboros Society is pretty much the BF Group, the Aureole has the same effect as the Vogler Sphere, Bleublanc uses the same shadow-stitching technique as Genya, Walter is pretty much Alberto, Renne and Pater-Mater are like Daisaku and Giant Robo, and probably loads of other stuff I've missed.
Also Gnosis being the DG Cells from G Gundam.
