*With the reveal the HD Remake\'s battle system is using the Active Cross Battle system of FinalFantasyXV rather than the original Active Time Battle system has divided the fanbase yet again. There are those who are glad or at least accepting of this change, feeling that the battles needed to be updated for the current generation and there are those who are against it, feeling that turning Final Fantasy VII into an ActionRPG goes against the spirit of the original game.
