I am now aware that TvTropes allows code comments, and in the future I will be using these if I am concerned about a mistake being repeated (something like, \\\"%commented the above line because it is a common misconception\\\"). It should prevent this from repeating. I am surprised that {{Repair Don\\\'t Respond}} doesn\\\'t say anything about this, since it can be a great way to avoid visible natter on the page when used properly.
