Rutger isn\'t \
to:
Rutger isn\\\'t \\\"entirely evil\\\"? I would argue Raccoon\\\'s actions are also pretty objectively evil (he committed genocide for purely selfish reasons), even if he does get a sympathetic portrayal.

Edit: Also:

* WouldBeRudeToSayGenocide:
** [[spoiler:Raccoon regarding his \\\"work force.\\\"]]

I don\\\'t think the trope applies. Raccoon never attempts to sugarcoat his genocide after the fact, which is what this trope refers to. Are you referring to the way he lures the workers into the trap \\\'\\\'before\\\'\\\' the genocide? I think that\\\'s more a case of NewEraSpeech.

Edit 2: And also this:

* ChekhovsGun
** In some cases, ChekhovsBoomerang applies:
*** The reflecting pond. You know it\\\'s going to come back when you save Richard, but you think you\\\'re done with it when [[spoiler:you save Alan thirty years later.]] But nope, it comes back \\\'\\\'again\\\'\\\' when you have to [[spoiler:play back everyone\\\'s [[TransferableMemory Soul Tears]].]]
*** The God\\\'s Eye. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] in that it\\\'s an \\\'\\\'incredibly\\\'\\\' powerful weapon, so any number of people want to get their hands on it.

I honestly don\\\'t see how anyone would assume the reflecting pond was over as a plot element after Alan. It clearly still hasn\\\'t been explained, and it showing up to spit another GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere at you hardly counts as a major plot detail in the first place. I\\\'m honestly not sure if it even counts as a ChekhovsGun, because it\\\'s so obviously weird and inexplicable. It\\\'s impossible to overlook, and I highly doubt anyone would dismiss it as something that would never come up again; those are the two important components that differentiate a ChekhovsGun from a regular PlotTwist. Same deal with the God\\\'s Eye; there isn\\\'t even any delay between its introduction and its use, it\\\'s always used immediately whenever it appears.

Hey! I dont like the whole \
to:
Hey! I dont like the whole \\\"Caps=Wrong\\\" logic you are using. You could have just said that I dont need to be so rude, but it doesnt make me wrong!

And here\\\'s the proof

Note that in the Japanese version of the line he doesnt even refer to him directly.

* Tella: Just how is it not what I think?!
* Tellah: You spoony bard!

So the whole \\\"Tellah Swears\\\" is the MisBlame trope in work.
