I think it was a theory by some detectives at Scotland Yard, it was pretty much states that the British Secret Service may have been responsible for the death of Rasputin. There\'s a documentary about it made by BBC. However, this theory has not gained much acceptance from most historians. It\'s pretty weird to see TVTropes talking about it as if it was proven fact.
