I\\\'d rather not have an EditWar, but I still think Master Shadow is an example of a ClippedWingAngel.
From the laconic page: \\\"A being\\\'s true/final/ultimate form has flaws that render it impractical or easily defeated.\\\"
Master Shadow can be grabbed and KO\\\'d by RingOut, while the Hands and the Core\\\'s other forms can\\\'t. Those are flaws that render it impractical or easily defeated, even if it isn\\\'t quite instant victory. And there is nothing in the trope that says that a Clipped Wing Angel has to be completely helpless (and many examples that aren\\\'t) -- it just needs to be weaker than its previous form.

Original Entry:
** [[MirrorBoss Master Shadow]] is one, as well. At this point the boss turns from an unpredictable EldritchAbomination to... a stronger version of the player. Grabbing, knockback, and other mechanics that were useless against the Hands or the Core\\\'s previous forms can be used just fine here.
