Actually, it\'s not that. While in the comics she has to bleed to summon the staff and that\'s it, here bleeding is a major part of her powerset: the more she bleeds the more powerful she gets, and some abilities require her to bleed to be used. They could have omitted that part of Nico (since she always has the staff in the game), but not only did that but they expanded it, so I think it qualifies as a UI.
