Except you\'re not putting forward statements, you\'re putting forward in-character \'\'\'opinions.\'\'\' You\'re taking what characters think to be true as pure objective fact, despite said characters not being at the scene, not counting the body, not having any actual evidence of the war itself.
to:
Can\\\'t say I appreciate being called a liar, especially when your statements are just what characters believe yet are presented as being solid facts, and when an entire scene in VudeoGames/MassEffect3 is presented as fact and accepted by everyone without question you accuse the Geth of lying and those who believe them as being weak and gullible.

You\'re also making excuses instead of what the game actually says; the writers make it clear that the Geth don\'t have the ability for outright deceit (\

I should point out, the writers of the game do go to the Bioware forums and have answered questions on this nature, so if anyone really cares about the truth they could always go over and you know, ask if such and such was true or not. But as it is, Bioware have avoided the whole issue of what exactly happened in the war.

You\\\'re also making excuses instead of what the game actually says; the writers make it clear that the Geth don\\\'t have the ability for outright deceit (\\\"Geth do not \\\'\\\'intentionally\\\'\\\' Infilitrate\\\") and when one of the Quarians agree with them, you say that the writers intended it to be a sign that she was weak and wrong, when the entire scene is portrayed and accepted by everyone, including Shepard his/herself as being the truth of what really happened. This isn\\\'t the Geth telling you something, this is you crawling around inside the Geth\\\'s mind. The game doesn\\\'t even raise the possibility of any of it being a forgery, yet here you are, making things up to support yourself.

Neither Paragon nor Renegade Shepard raises the possibility that anything Legion showed them within the Geth consensus is anything but the truth. Unless people are going to say that the writers, after making the entire scene and having every character involved (including those on the other side) believe that it\\\'s the truth are all weak and gullible, that is next to word of god that we\\\'re supposed to take those scenes at face value.

But hey, if anyone is really interested in getting a solid answer, Bioware\\\'s writers respond to posts on their forum, so anyone can go and get the literal WordOfGod there. That\\\'d settle the argument one way or the other.
