My PetPeeveTrope[=s=] are TrueArtIsAngsty, and to a lesser extent, DarknessInducedAudienceApathy. Yes, several acclaimed works do have dark stuff once in a while (i.e. some of my favorite movies and shows), but these two tropes are where the line has been crossed (can you call that CrossingTheLineTwice whether it\'s funny or not?).
