From a spiritual perspective, Witches and Shadows are similar because as you said in your first paragraph, If Shadows are the manifestation of the self, and If I take Kyubey\\\'s LackOfEmpathy into account, the wishes the Puella Magi desired seem to end up more twisted than they wanted. Oktavia and Sayaka are one and the same, and so are the other Puell Magi, yes?

If this doesn\\\'t convince you, you won this one...

I removed the spoiler tags from around the trope names because FastEddie doesn\'t want trope names spoiler tagged anywhere on the site. The ones around the stuff on Molly\'s section aren\'t even spoilers, just background info. The one on Lesley\'s bio I removed the tag around the trope name, but put it around the information. However given that it happened in book one and we are at book four and two more to go then it could be considered a LateArrivalSpoiler.

It is her default state for the rest of the series, and her motivation, so is it really worth spoilering out?
