...To me it looks more like nobody in the North even \'\'knew\'\' that benders could mess with your mind. Hell, it made perfect sense to everyone present that Master Pakku had more authority than Chief Arnook. I don\'t think \'\'any\'\' of the polar waterbenders knew they were mindbending - they were kicking Fire Nation ass, and as far as they knew, that was why people respected them.

It\'s one of the most inherently \'\'\'fucked up\'\'\' parts of Vathara\'s Avatarverse; the only people who have any real idea of How The World Really Works are the people who are helping destroy it.

So presumably, this trope is about \'\'looks\'\' (i.e.: clothing, growing out hair) than general demeanor. If the character started out practically [[LadyLooksLikeADude looking like a boy]], and acting like TheLaddette, but after a TimeSkip sports longer hair, a dress-like tunic, and more, uh...[[FanservicePack curves]], but still keeps a lot of her original character (albeit with [[CharacterDevelopment development]], such as going from a JerkJock to TookALevelInKindness), would \'\'that\'\' be considered this trope?
