Basically, we have 3 protagonists that represent Generosity, Kindness, and Loyalty who were on that train specifically to make sure the cake got to where it was going in tact. By eating that cake, they not only STOLE, but also BETRAYED the trust of the Cakes and Pinkie Pie. Despite this HUGE laps of moral judgement, they get off scott free! (KarmaHoudini might also apply?)
