That is exactly the point. Traviss\' Republic Commando is primarily written with the viewpoint of the Mandolorians in mind, since a few of her main characters are Mandolorians, and Clone soldiers raised in the Mandolorian way. While she is hypocritical, as you stated, there is also another angle to the entire matter. Jedi fanboys are so set in their beliefs about the Jedi, they fail to understand that the Republic Commando series \'\'\'is not a Jedi book\'\'\'. It is a mixture of a Clone Trooper and Mandolorian. Throughout the known series, Mandolorians and Jedi are polar opposites, even more so than the Jedi are opposites of the Sith. They take the actions of the Mandolorians from 4000 years ago, and think they can be applied to the Mandolorians 4000 years later, as if nothing has changed.

Yes, Karen Traviss is overly attached to the Mandolorians, but her Republic Commando series can also serve as a good alternate view-point look at the Jedi during the Clone Wars. Let us be honest, how many Jedi do we actually in the series out of 10,000 Jedi? There could very well be Jedi, like Krell, who see the Clones the way the Mandolorians believe Jedi do.
