The way I see this trope, this Trope is a character you\'re supposed to be repulsed by and you are, but at the same time are impressed by. They don\'t have redeeming moral qualities so they aren\'t sympathetic and you\'re repulsed by their KickTheDog and sometimes even MoralEventHorizon actions (the hate part), but they\'re \'\'good\'\' at what they do and may have a certain charm about them and might be BadAss or LaughablyEvil (the love part).
Like The Joker, or many wrestling heels.
