* The NES \'\'Advanced Dungeons & Dragons\'\' game \'\'[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTfCi59KCx8 Heroes of the Lance]]\'\'. Completely random hit detection (it uses the \'\'AD&D\'\' rules, after all), ugly graphics, a confusing and outright-broken dungeon layout, and a battle system that places the \'\'[[SquishyWizard only character]]\'\' with a revive spell (Goldmoon the cleric) at the front of the formation...and first to die under enemy attack. Unbelievably, the game was popular enough to warrant [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wy5C7HN7YOY a sequel]] that was \'\'slightly\'\' better but still dire.

IIRC, that character (\\\"Animal Mother\\\") from FullMetalJacket doesn\\\'t even qualify as a sociopathic soldier, as he doesn\\\'t display any overtly brutal behaviour at any point in that film beyond wanting to put a downed sniper out of her misery (who was already responsible for taking out half of his squad mind you, and actually requested to be killed). Bob Barnes from {{Platoon}} would be a much better pick, or really anyone else for that matter, such as the helicopter door-gunner from FMJ who is \\\'\\\'actually mentioned\\\'\\\' in this article.
