I can see how Fridge Horror applies on a national scale with the hypermilitarism giving way to a peaceful nation. But I don\'t think it really applies to literally the same men who committed atrocities. Most salarymen occurred a generation afterwards I thought?

Also on that topic, I think we should agree on a standard for the tone for the article.
