I am seriously considering placing Izumi under the Complete Monster trope. He might be fighting against aliens, but he is a depraved man who killed \'\'\'387\'\'\' people and could care less about people around him, including his girlfriend. Oh, and to put the icing on the cake, he cold-heartedly [[spoiler: killed Tae]] in the most vicious instances of [[KickTheDog kicking the dog]]... EVER.
