Spooner and Sonny \\\'\\\'\\\'do\\\'\\\'\\\' agree that \\\"irrational\\\" is better than \\\"heartless\\\" (to use Sonny\\\'s own word), but the robot who saved Spooner wasn\\\'t facing that dilemma: saving Spooner was more rational, but letting either of them die was equally heartless.

I think it is sufficient to note (as the article currently does) that Sonny plays the trope straight.
