I\\\'m male, but I know that when I think I look good, I enjoy this feeling for itself, not because I think people will approach me or give me attention or something. Nor, usually, do I really want them to. If you, or anyone else, saw me looking good and assumed that this was for your own benefit, or that I was asking for your attention, you would be mistaken. If you chose to interpret it as the equivalent of an \\\"inquire about a free diamond ring\\\" sign (as RIM so \\\"wonderfully\\\" put it above), that would be your problem, not mine, and if you were particularly annoying, I\\\'d be fully within my rights to \\\"complain\\\" about it, and I don\\\'t think it would somehow make me a \\\"giant hypocrite.\\\"
