It\\\'s still plausible that Dent may have been temporarily \\\"dead\\\" (or at least unconscious, though that alone wouldn\\\'t explain the apparent lack of breathing) in that scene, that someone else may have resuscitated him after Batman and Gordon left, and that Dent may have faked his death and/or been unable to get the word out that he was alive. Not a likely scenario, but somewhat plausible.
