Personally I think that the joke is that people do misinterpret the name \

Personally I think that the joke is that people do misinterpret the name \\\"We Publish Anything\\\" in-universe, which I can see how people see it as invoking and subverting the trope... except I\\\'m not as sure that WeBuyAnything is the right trope, since while the name makes it sound like the opposite of WeSellEverything, as written WBA seems to be more about RPG shops that will pay the player for anything in their inventory. Which is a bit different in scope, despite the similar names.

We Publish Anything might count as WeSellEverything played straight rather than subverted, however? Downplayed, since it\\\'s only publishing various media, but it does have that one-store-for-everything mentality you get in comedy.
