Tropers/{{Komodin}}, sorry to overcomplicate it. I completely understand the need to keep it simple. I also want to apologise for making so many minor edits in quick succession, which I think may have made my changes seem more, um, \\\"drastic\\\" than they really were.

Would you accept \\\"The Super Mario World to the first one\\\'s Super Mario Bros. 3\\\", without all the stuff in brackets about \\\"Super Mario 64\\\"?

I do think the comparison is more apt, and it is one that others have made (see e.g. paragraph 6 of [[http://www.next-gen.biz/features/review-super-mario-galaxy-2 this review]]).

If you disagree, please say so, so I don\\\'t make the mistake of labouring over an edit that\\\'s going to be negated a few seconds later. Thank you.

I\'ve actually learnt several points about this work: what it does well, what other work to compare it to and what to expect of its quality. There\'s a description that isn\'t a plot summary and the startings of a trope list. Once they are there, people tend to work on them, the problem is starting them off.

There\\\'s a description that isn\\\'t a plot summary and the startings of a trope list. Once they are there, people tend to work on them, the problem is starting them off. If we have them and you can learn something from them then they are at the tipping point of utility. Though to be fair, in the past, I\\\'ve said three tropes should be about right.
