That appears to be an unknown Dust type as it exists in the ground in the landscape around. As far as we know, Dust is neither good nor evil. And, for now, the darkest crystal we've seen has been associated with Mistral (the floating islands of Lake Matsu) and Weiss (Black = Gravity Dust).
