Alright, the FandomRivalry about this show vs the Three Caballeros show was just removed to \\\"prevent any more fandom wars\\\", but, \\\'\\\'is\\\'\\\' there even a rivalry between the two? If there is, then it is something that could be worth mentioning (though taking care to not be inflammatory about it)

\" It still applies because she still tries to force it on other people to eat because she says so. \"

The only times Akane has tried to \"force\" people to eat her cooking is during the arc when Kodachi was also trying to get Ranma to eat her cooking so it became a competition between the two of them and the Sakura mochi arc where the point wasn\'t so much the food itself as its magical effect.

The idea that Akane is constantly forcing people to try her bad cooking and then get mad when they don\'t like it is Fanon.

\"Akane would even try to “revise” a recipe simply because she “thought it looked boring”, as seen in the Nodoka cooking ep.\"

I have the Nodoka cooking chapter up right now. This never happens.

\"Hello? Ryoga was the one who started that fight when he finally ran into Ranma, who was on an errand for Dr. Tofu, after being a week late for his intended bout.\"

What are you even talking about? This is not a scene that ever happens.

\"He does it again in the alliance of Ryoga and Mousse ep, then the dialogue afterwards.\"

There is no chapter where Ryoga and Mousse team up. This dialogue never happens.

Show me the page where this dialogue occurs.

\"Everything else, of course he tried to explain himself, but she NEVER believes him anyway\"

Nope. This is false. No matter how much you try and repeat it, it\'s not true. Akane does not \"never beleive Ranma\" dispite what bad fanfics say. Stop using fanon.

\". Once he DID manage to explain, guess what? She didn’t believe him because she “knows he was there to steal underwear”.\"

She never says that. She says Ranma should try and think of a \"better excuse\" because by this point Ranma had \'\'repeatedly\'\' tried to sneak and force his way into the girls locker room. Why should Akane beleive him after he does all that?

You seem to think that despite Ranma being a sneaky prick who will only ever answer questions if forced to that Akane should automatically beleive him?

\"That’s EXACTLY what being a know-nothing-know-it-all is. The fact she acts like she needs no further explanation because she apparently “knows a person well” without bothering to get her facts straight.\"

No. It is not.

It\'s Akane, being an emotional person, having an emotional reaction to the seeing the guy she likes seemingly come on to another girl.

\"The Bake-Neko ep. Akane attacked Ranma in his sleep, accusing him of “dressing up as a cat and scaring her”. Has she already forgotten that Ranma has a crippling fear of cats because of his Neko Ken training? How the hell could he possibly dress as his biggest fear?\"

You again get basic facts wrong.

First off, earlier that night Ranma had already pulled a similar prank on Akane. So she was primed to think he was doing it again. Akane never says he dressed up as a cat either. She just sees the giant bell and a hears a creepy voice in the darkness.

\". In the frog episode, Cologne mentioned the frog hermit was going after Jusenkyo victims. She saw the (fake) frogs of Genma, Shampoo, and Ryoga, and actually wondered why Ryoga is among the frog hermit’s targets before starting to claim Ryoga “never went to Jusenkyo before”.\"

What chapter is this?

\"you must know, the Tunnel of Lost Love ep where Ryoga ran across the water with Akane in his arms. When he nears the edge, he accidentally trips and falls into the water as Akane is dropped on land. P-chan comes up, and instead says, “It’s P-chan!” with P-chan sweatdropping on how lucky he was she didn’t somehow find out. Yo, are you not wondering in the slightest where Ryoga disappeared to and P-chan suddenly comes up as soon as he’s gone?\"

And that\'s not what happens. Ryoga falls into the water, a ghost pops out, scares Akane and makes Akane faint.

She never notices P-chan in that arc.

\"That moron Asuza figured out Ryoga and her “Darling Charlotte” were one and the same due to the collar she saw on both of them, and she doesn’t know a thing about Jusenkyo or its curses, so what’s Akane’s excuse?\"

Azuza\'s stupid enough make such an absurd leap of logic. Like, that\'s the joke.

\"Again, Master of Delusion. It means someone has apparently picked up on another person’s secret, then at the last minute thinks of something else entirely.\"

But Akane didn\'t pick up on the secret.

\"He doesn’t “allow it to happen”. Ranma tries to make sure he doesn’t try anything. Ranma’s only fault was making that stupid honor pledge not to tell Ryoga’s secret because he felt responsible for what happened to him.\"

Ranma \'\'never\'\' made any promise to keep Ryoga\'s curse.

He made a \"promise\" to a dog. He has no problem telling \'\'everybody else\'\' about Ryoga\'s curse. And for crying out loud, there are three times in the series where\'s he\'s about to tell Akane!

**The first night. He\'s about to tell Akane P-chan is Ryoga when Akane kisses what she thinks is a piglet. Ranma has a jealous fit and doesn\'t tell her
**During the Waterproof Soap Arc. Akane asks Ryoga why he and Ranma are fighting over the soap (she doesn\'t know its effects), Ranma \'\'starts\'\' to say \"Because he\'s P-chan\" But Ryoga boots him away before he can finish the sentence
**During the Pantyhose Taro introduction arc Akane wonders why P-chan was attacked. Ranma, again, begins to say \"Because he\'s Ryoga\" but is again interuppted.

If Ranma \'\'really\'\' cared about some \"promise\" he wouldn\'t have revealed it to everybody and almost telling Akane. And if he \'\'really\'\' cared about revealing it to Akane he\'d do it during the myriad times that Ryoga isn\'t around.

\"Then it’s a case of The Unfairer Sex. “Everything she does is perfectly fine and justified. Ranma is wrong in insulting her.”\"

\'\'EVERYBODY\'\' in Ranma 1/2 except for, like, Kasumi will inflict slapstick volence to the target of their annoyance.

\"It was worse than that. She ALLOWS Shampoo to try and KILL Ranma-chan after splashing him.\"

The story does not treat Shampoo\'s attempts to kill Ranma seriously. It\'s played for laughs, it\'s exagurated comical violence that nobody in or out of universe thinks is a big deal. Even Ranma conciders Shampoo an annoyance at most.

Also, it\'s not \"Ranma-chan\" it\'s just Ranma.

\" Akane’s inaction is just as bad if not worse because, in her own words, thinks “he probably deserves it anyway.” ALLOWING him to get beat up by others when she could’ve stopped it is practically the same thing.\"

So.. not bad at all because it\'s harmless slapstick violence?

\"Shampoo was trying to stop anyone other than Ranma from winning. Plus, there’s no way Akane would’ve gotten past Cologne anyway since she’s too skilled and Cologne would have no reason not to beat her. Ranma at the time was the only one who had a chance of beating Cologne\"

So, in other words, Akane\'s actions had no effect on the final outcome.

So it doesn\'t apply to the trope. Got it. Glad we agree.

\"Ranma at the time was the only one who had a chance of beating Cologne\"

Ranma did not ever have the slighest chance of beating Cologne. She only eventually gave the phoenix pill to him out of respect for his determination.

\"And again, doesn’t change the fact Akane STILL interfered with Ranma DURING the fight against Hinako.\"

You mean when she kicked Ranma to no effect when she saw him groping a woman\'s chest? Which, by the way, was before he tried (and failed) to explain the situation?

\"And there you go. Plus, she knew how the technique worked, making it worse.\"

\'\'She didn\'t think something silly like that would effect Ryoga.\'\' She didn\'t even know why he was saying it.

Man, you keep getting facts about the series wrong.

I have the books right in front of me and can easily fact check the assertions you make.
