The first two sentences are confirmed by the show, but aren't the trope. The final sentence is the trope, but is pure guesswork. In fact, it's FridgeLogic.

The first two sentences are confirmed by the show. The final sentence is pure guesswork.

The first two sentences are not the trope. The final sentence is but, as it's just fandom guessing, can't make a case for the trope being in effect at all for Jaune (in fact, a case cannot be made for any character in this show having this trope, given that the fandom can't agree on the subject and the creators not only refuse to answer the question, but made the fandom debate a canon part of the show).

In short, the fandom can debate whether or not PersonalityPowers is in effect for any character, but we cannot confirm which theory, if any, are right. Therefore, we cannot trope it.

I'm glad we could sort this out like reasonable folk. I know we don't always see eye-to-eye, but at least we talk things out and try to find compromises.
