The premise of the complaint is that white people have stolen from Native American culture for centuries without giving due credit. I don't know that Native Americans would have a problem with it if she, say, used the same invented concept and called it ''something other than thunderbird''. or if she left skinwalkers alone without trying to claim them as whataretheycalled animagi.
