Except the Ultra Beasts are practically the Life Fibers (Both are parasitic aliens that invade a person and kill people and go on to destroy the planet), Lusamine is Ragyo (That's obvious), Silvally isn't far off from Senketsu (Both are beings made to destroy the parasites that take over peoples minds controlled by someone who has that typical red and black edgey design choice) and Gladion is pretty close to Ryuko. The only difference is the revealing clothing thing and there's still a lot more self aware fanservice in this game. The character designs are pretty close and we do have a tutor who is half naked.
