I had a discussion with another user about [=WhatArtThee=], and it seems that he edits most Pokémon-related pages and entries with the one-sided bias that \"every part of the franchise is equally famous and identical in tone\" unless someone corrects him.

Personally, I think DarkerAndEdgier is still in effect. Yes, other games had their very dark aspects (like Lavender Town and Lysandre, as mentioned), but just like BW, Sun and Moon stand out for a couple of reasons:

*The greater focus on plot, which revolves around Lusamine\'s abusive relationship with her children (just like with Ghetsis and N), as well as deconstructing the stereotypical goofy evil team (Team Skull) showing that they\'re nothing but a bunch of poor kids trying to make a living.

*Many, MANY of the Pokédex entries emphasize how dangerous the Pokémon species is and/or revolve around the predator-prey relationships between the species in the Alola Dex, which was present but uncommon in previous games.

(Also, yay Eva! Again, sorry about the Asuka thing, I\'ll try to cooperate better with other users from now on.)
