Why is Nala always claimed to be based Ophelia? I want a link or something showing me that the makers officially said Nala is the counterpart of Ophelia. Because being Simba's love interest only happens in the second half of the movie. Isn't she predominantly known to be Simba's best friend? So why can't she be Horatio? Or both Horatio and Ophelia?
